Sorry Kerri - I'm tired and obviously didn't read it properly. I hope you have a better time - perhaps the OR had PMT!

Kerri

Thats depressing Ok, but listen. The OR will look at your circumstances as an individual. I had a court date and I was scared. the money adviser working with me said if you have looked at ways of addressing your debt problem and I had, so have you. They take it into account. You have a whole filing cabinet to throw at them. Please dont worry about this. They dont look too kindly on gambling but a £1 lottery ticket, come on. I was also told I would keep my car worth 3000. Was this at myvesta? I read all the bankruptcy stuff on there when I was facing it. There are a good many better experiences, some said they couldnt believe how easy it was. Some official receivers are snooty, some are not. Please Kez dont do this to yourself, you have come so far. I cannot pretend that I wasnt scared, believe me I was. Just look at what you have survived already.

no this wasn't myvesta its the motley fool, i know they will look at you individually , it was just a wake up call for me i worry about everything at the minute, i worry that i did play bingo on line for a couple of months due to loneliness not to the extent of thousands but realsied it was silly just wanted someone to talk to as i was lonely in the evenings when hubby away, i know they will scrutinise everything and you have to have an answer i look everywhere to try and get myself out of this mess, i am worried they take the cars of us as i wouldn't be able to work running after kids etc. the ip from synergi did shout at me for putting £3 on line for the lottery as it was easy for me to do that than going the shop, it was the first time in years i had played it and was told it wouldnt look good for the creditors, you don't realise how much they can turn your life inside out, but me personally i want to fight now and pay what i can with out giving in to them all hopes on new job hubby wants to start a fresh ie BR

Whatever you do Kez in am with you in spirit, I will get on your nerves and always reply to your posts. I will be there when you are angry, sad, lonley or desperate and scared.

There are tough times ahead, but stick with hubby and you'll both come through. I hope your dreams come true. If you do have to start again, you will make it, you;ll have money too.

One thing struck me about that sot you put up Kerry is the line about not managing money better.
o
Its fine for the OR to say such a thing but most f us are not paid a fortune and while some things are dirt cheap now others, like housing, utilities the basic sruvival things are not. Fortunatley from a fiancial point of view I have a council flat but to rent privately for a similar flat in exactly the same place costs about £ 950 a month before bills for a one bedroom flat.
