Thanks Barb
I also have a telephone interview with one of Melanie's colleagues tomorrow and i will definately bear in mind dealing with someone we feel comfortable with, like you said 5 years is a long time.
I feel so much happier now

Hi again Cath. As promised, I am posting my update as I had my interview with one of Melanie's colleagues, Melanie today. I was really nervous because I am so ashamed of our situation but Melanie was completely non-judgemental and explained things so plainly. We concluded that an IVA is the best route for us, and we are now putting the wheels in motion and are getting the paperwork together for our case. All I can say now, is best of luck to you, if you choose Melanie and her team, you won't be disappointed. I am so looking forward to 5 yrs of paying back to finish up debt free eventually, so lets hope Melanie can assist me in achieving my goals. I am also looking forward to being able to sleep at night again! Keep us updated, and I will update you too when I receive my pack from Melanie. Regards Kazzy x

Hi Kazzy

I'm glad your interview went well today and you're setting the wheels in motion to become debt free.
I spoke to Tina from Melanie's team today - i was so nervous beforehand but she was lovely, she's calling me back tomorrow to go through our options. It's quite scary really actually dealing with our debt problem, but hopefully we'll have decided what's best for us and set the wheels in motion too within the next 2 days.

Let me know how you get on

Love Cath

All of Melanies team are lovely.. even in the IVA when you call anybody they are always lovely and helpful. I'm so glad I found this site as we were going to go with DFD!! I like the personal touch, I think it eases the worries!!

I remember the initial phone calls/meetings, but Melanie and all of her team never fail to give in excess of 100%. The award for customer care of the year should go to Team Mel, fact.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
