Ok - we moved in Oct 2007 to rented. We were given up to £800 for rent. Having had to move twice due to repossession in the last six months, our rent is now £625, however some of our utility bills and council tax, petrol and food shopping have increased slightly through no fault of our own.......I have offered to increase our payments from £1270 per month to £1400 (up by £130 per month) using the balance of the original rent allowance to off set the increased expenditure which can all be validated by receipts and letters.

Do you think this is reasonable?
