Advice please. Just found out we are entitled to a tax credit rebate for tax year 2011/2013 of around £800 due to having a new baby. We do not usually receive any tax credits. Do you think we would have to hand all this over to our creditors? Only just entered in to iva this month and don't see the point in going through with a claim only to hand it all over. Thanks

Hi, not sure on the answer but there would be a point to going through with the claim as it will increase the dividend to your creditors. Best to check with your IP whether you can retain any of the monies or if it will be all payable into the IVA.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
