Hi
Because they will hold 25% or more of your debt and have the deciding vote and modification.
As your two largest creditors are represented by TIX I'm sure that Payplans fees will be reduced down in line with te TIX policy
Your husbands debts will certainly fall under the TIX criteria.

Hi Caraf, we have a (joint) interlocking IVA and our fees totalled 11.5k incl VAT on a total debt of 86k. Seems there's plenty of variety!!

Caraf

I would not worry to much about fees as if your creditors think them to be exessive they will make a modification at your creditors meeting, if so they will reduce and your dividend increase.
Don't forget also it is likely that you will get overtime/bonus payments in the next 60 months and that will increase your final dividend.
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

Emma x

Hi Caraf,

Creditors were, Lombard, Cahoot, RBS, and BoS. Our initial offer was 66p/£ after fees deducted, but we're now closer to 80% and on target to repay 100% due to improved incomes and a considerably less lavish lifestyle!!!

I'd agree with Emma though, don't worry too much about the fees, your creditors will require them to be reduced if they think they're too high. We're with ClearStart.... and have to say they've been great so far...
