I am enquiring with some people regarding the possibility of an IVA with 68k for my husband and I. However, I said we can afford 550pm and some are saying thats not enough. I thought we may stand a chance on that - advice anyone?

Hi there

I would have thought that this would make a very good offer, but it depends on the creditors you have as some of them - for instance HSBC still have high hurdle rates.

Could you post a list of your creditors so that we can advise further.

Did you speak with Northern Rock as recommended in another thread?
