3princessess Melanies team are fantastic, no question too big or too small and you will find they treat you purely as an individual...not just a case number.
Good luck.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!
Thank you so much Melanie that has put my mind at ease I have been worrying about which way to go with my new account all week
I will call your office on Monday morning if thats ok, once again I do apologise for my lack of communication earlier. When I spoke to Tina initially she emailed me the expense master forms which I have filled in and emailed back to her, I also still have a copy saved onto my pc. What would you suggest I do regarding DFD? They currently have all our statements and payslips etc. Would it be a good idea to ring them and ask them to return these to me now? Would you suggest I tell them that I no longer wish to continue my iva with them as I don't want to waste their time if they trying to complete my propsal, I have no idea what they have or haven't done as I haven't heard anything from them since I sent my paperwork back to them. I have called them twice and spoken to 2 different people neither of which seemed to have a clue what was going on I was just told someone would be in contact in a few days. Thank you so much for your help and advise. Kind Regards Sarah
Thanks Pennyless, I have complete faith that they are excellent and being treated as anything other than a reference number would be great at the moment lol
You will never be just a reference number to Mel's team!
What advice has Tina given you with regard to the information you have forwarded to DFD?
If she is not aware of this, then can I suggest that you find out what she thinks may be best?

I can confirm you're never a number to Mel or her team, my creditors got fairly agitated when I couldn't give them a case number more so than when I told them I wasn't paying! Let us know how it goes won't you?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
Hi Kallis3, I have not spoken to Tina since I sent all my paperwork to DFD. To cut a long story short I jumped in at the deep end with DFD as at the time I was panicking and they were telling me what I wanted to hear. Unfortunatly they have told me nothing at all since and now I've realised that I've made a big mistake choosing DFD and should have stuck with Melanies team in the first place, silly me! I will be giving Melanies office a call as soon as I get back from dropping my children at school and will ask their advise about how to handle things with DFD
Are your kids back at school 3princesses? It's half term week in the Midlands this week.
To be fair to DFD, they do have some good reviews on here, and at the end of the day it is who you are most comfortable with - after all five years is a long time to spend with someone.
If you are happy to continue with Mel then I suggest you speak to them tomorrow to ask them how you should proceed.

Just to let you all know I have cjust checked my emails for the first time today and I had a lovely email from Tina at Melanies team. She said I need not have worried about calling her back and the fact that I missed my appointment. I only wish I'd checked my emails earlier so I could have given her a call this afternoon. Tina is very lovely and her email has completely put my mind at ease, now I just feel a bit bad that I didn't see it earlier and called her, but I'm sure we will get to speak soon
