Hi

I have just read your answers to Louise's post - affecting the credit of others and wondered if this is what has happened to my son's account.

He already has an account with the Yorkshire but 2 weeks ago opened up another account to transfer day to day cash into - he is 17 - he hasn't received his cash card so I went in the branch yesterday to find out why and the girl said it looked like the account wasn't triggering a card release for some reason and she would have to phone to find out why. Do you think because we are in financial trouble they are looking at association ?

Hi
It,s possible but normally it is just spouses that are affected. My own son had no problem getting credit so I guess that it,s just a system problem.
Let us know if he can,t get a card.

That's a relief as he knows nothing of what we are going through. Surprising how you can appear totally normal when inside you are breaking up. I'll let you know what happens

If he has been affected by your IVA it is possible for him to request to be disassociated from your debt through the credit reference agencies.

I would - if you haven't already post this on the main forum at the top. Good luck.
