Opened the post this morning knowing that apart from the normal gas/phone bills ect there would not be anything scary there. How wrong I was. Yet another letter from Natwest saying that I owed them money and they would start legal proceedings if I did not pay them. I called them to tell them yet again that my IVA had been approved and was almost completed. They still say they do not know anything about my IVA being approved. I have contacted my IP who will yet again fax the chairmans report across to them. When I was waiting for my IVA I did not hear a thing from Natwest but now they are just been pains. It looks like they have some great big black hole round them and whatever you send they dont get.

its a joke isnt it....i presume you took a name from the person at Natwest...and the fax from your IP is going to that named person....how on earth in this day and age can something so simple go wrong.

Have just spoken to the person who is closing my IVA. The joke is that they have even received a claim from Natwest. So they do know that I am in a IVA it just seems like scare tactics to me.

I am sure it just takes one person who actually pays Natwest a token payment after some threatening letters to make them think it is worth their while sending you these letters. So wrong though :(

I too had a letter from natwest re this same thinga t the weekend. Despite numerous calls to them, faxing of chairman reports and giving of solvency numbers, they sent me this letter informing me of legal action! I spoke with them on saturday and ascertained that although my husband had been transferred to their management team whereby no further correspondance is sent, I hadn't been - even though I had done everything I should have done. Eventually they admitted they were holding all the relevant details, and yes I should have been transferred too - I await now to see if I get further letters from them!

It took Natwest 4 months to finally transfer my accounts to the correct dept. and stop calling me! Everytime they called I told them to read the notes on the account and they either pretended they were'nt there or aplogised and hung up!
They finally got the message though!
