Hi all
I've not posted for a while but have been checking in regularly.

Hubby and I have 1 more payment to make (1st Sept) then we will have, hopefully, completed our IVA. [:D]

Got a letter today from GT to advise no additional funds are outstanding :) but still not received the outcome of our review or is this it. We are alittle confused as we have never had this letter before, we usually get the nothing has changed therefore no increase in payments is due.

We have emailed GT, just waiting for a response now.

Anyways, all being well we have decided with our 1st free month, as it is our anniversary the end of this month we are treating ourselves to a weekend away in a hotel instead of a tent [8D] down on the south coast, it will be lovely to not have to worry about what we order (within reason of course!!) and be able to have something alittle more fancy if, well, if we fancy it [:D]

Entering into an IVA has not been the easiest of times but we have certainly learnt to appreciate the smaller things in life and be more personal aswell, particularly with each other and our family and friends.

Hopefully this month will go as quickly as the last 5 years have!

Well done and don't worry - the GT letter makes no difference. Close down may take a while but it will happen. When you get that completion certificate remember all those awful debt collection phone calls - then smile - they'll never happen again.
Enjoy your still here and that part is all over.

I think we have followed your journey from start to finish on the foru Barb, so it great to see you now at the end of the road. Let's hope that your closure does not take too long to effect.

Watch that payment go out with pride as you'll have made it!

Hope that the closure comes timely for you x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
