I wasn’t criticising the single thread, I agree it’s great to follow progress – just wondered whether this was the single longest thread outside the weight watchers thread?

hi everyone,
Well I have to say I have just spent the last 30 mins reading this post from the beginning and it has been a real journey. I have had every emotion known to man, lots of tears and then laughter!
One thing that comes from all of this is that despite the fact that most of us are in debt...we are all human and have all got personal lives with problem that to some are small to others are huge, but the way that we all support each other on this forum...truly is heart warming.
To lily and mike.s you are amazing, beautiful people. If there were more people on this earth like you, it would be a wonderful place!! Who needs money, when there are friends like you! x

Why spend life worrying...when you can spend it smiling!!

Ohhh jasperyogi, what a lovely and heartwarming message, thank you for your kind words.
I really didn't realise how long it had got (no making up your own jokes, I mean the post!) this forum is so wondeful and full of lovely people with great advice it's hard not to pour your heart out. You have all helped me so much, feel really good today! Sorted out a couple of things Tina asked for and feel like I am moving closer day by day to a solution, although still dreading the phone calls. But at least now I am going to answer them and face it head on! no more shouting 'tell them I'm not hear' as soon as the phone rings, or ignoring it and waiting to do 1471 to see who it was or listening to see if a message was left. Nope it's my phone, my home (at the moment anyway) my time, and I'm doing everything I can to sort it out and bring it to an end for everyone, so bring it on. Whooaaa hold me back someone hold me back!!
Anyway got to go and pick up my son from skateboarding with his mates, it's started to rain and he will be moaning that his bearings will rust, (my bearings rusted long ago) wish his guitar was out in the rain and would rust!
Speak again soon
Best wishes to all
Mike

Mike, I'm so glad you are feeling happier and more positive. Good luck, and please keep posting. Also, I wanted to wish Jane good luck - I'm sure she will pass what she needs to to become a driving instructor. I'm also glad that things are improving with her brother, and I also wanted to say that she mustn't blame herself for what happened with her parents, and as Lily says, I hope that she can find peace.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Keep the thread going Mike ... Admin might be able to turn it into a special blog! Glad you're not so afraid to answer the phone now ... what a heart lurching experience that can be when the phone rings and you know someone is after you for unpaid debts [:(]

Mike.B the thread is so long because we are waiting for THAT photograph! (I still haven't seen Jamie in the dress, which is just as well really as it might spoil my dreams [:)]).

Hi guys how is everyone today?
I've had a great day on the market, actually took money, which makes up for the completly disasterous last couple of weeks. Maybe because I feel so much better at the moment and don't look like an extra out of Night Of The Living Dead helped. Chatting with customers and once again selling, thank God for that!! Jamie finally got hold of me tonight, now now ladies keep it clean! Angie if you are listening he was very gentle with me! Lol.
Anyone thinking of remortgaging or need help along those lines give Jamie at Leybridge a call, great guy! you will be in great hands! Ohh now come on stop making up your own jokes! Hopefully when I get myself out of this nightmare, there could be real hope of one day actually thinking about giving my family a home again, and I will definately be chatting with Jamie, cheers mate!

Now then as to those stag night pics, shhhh, I'll have to whisper so come closer to your computer so no one else hears, but I've seen them and know where you can find them, but don't tell anyone cause I promised Jamie I wouldn't say anything, you can find them at....
Ohh so sorry guys I don't think I'm supposed to say. But having seen them keep your dreams just dreams ladies, not nice guys not nice! that poor goat, and your wife still married you after that!!!!.. only kiddin there's no goat, it looks more like a sheep. Lol. Seriously only kiddin! There's no animals whatsoever!!
But I can't tell you where they are, so if you really want to see them (and seriously guys think twice) you will have to badger (hey maybe it was a badger) Mr MikeB and Mr Jamie for the location.
Speak again soon
Best wishes to all
Mike

Hi Debbie, Lol.
A few days ago I took all of my cards out of my wallet, and boy does it feel very light now, but so do my shoulders. It actually feels so good to say well if we can't afford it we can't have it, a relief I wish I had admitted and embraced a long time ago. Feel great today thinking I could give my family a future without relying on cards, I now know that they so do not bring any form of happiness to anyone, guys if the cash isn't there we're not having it. Can't wait to get this sorted feel very excited about a debt free future and only having what we can afford, and feel great about admiting that hey we can't afford it we're not having it, and more than that we don't need it! I think the kids have noticed a difference already, feel very different now, feel very comfortable without those b***** cards around my neck.
Whoahh sorry where did that come from!!
I make and sell jewellery. Been doing it for a while now and finally making a good profit, if I could just sell more it would be great. I have very good suppliers now and have very good regular customers. I make and sell jewellery with semi-precious stones, pearls etc, as well as costume jewellery, with a huge range to buy, but I also make it to my customers own requirements most of the time while they wait. Also sell rings, gold and silver etc, but I try to keep it all unique and most of it I hand make. Could go on for a while about it but I wont, are you still awake? Anyway it's very nice jewellery and I get so many compliments, just wish I could move it forward in a different direction, so I'm building a bigger customer base.
Cheers
Mike
