am i allowed the debit card i have been given by barclays? i got the account a month ago and my iva decision will be made in a week. also will barclays find out?
HI emaplo and welcome to the forum, the debt card is fine, so long as you've no credit like an overdraft the debit card will be very useful when you're in your IVA and good luck with your IVA. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
No problem emaplo - I still have a full Barclays account and they were one of my creditors.

Barclays won't be told unless they are a creditor.

Most basic bank accounts geared up for people with debt problems come with a debit card so all fine as the others have said.
Remember to use it like cash though!
