An IVA allows for credit of up to £500, assuming you have the usual clauses. for just this sort of thing. These days car insurance and utilities tend to go over that amount, but, unless it gets silly, IP's do not generally examine this too closely. Most, if not all, of us took insurance monthly (after all the allowance is monthly and where would we get a lump sum from? ).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Ours was monthly with no problems.
