Cptredwell ----- I have had no problems contacting, or getting a response from Karol, since I became a GT refugee. To say I am not happy with the situation is an understatement. However, I have found Karol to be very helpful.

Do remember, with all due respect to Karol, she is but one cog in the system. For my sins I am a Public Servant and know what it is like to be unable to give the service you'd like due to policy constraints or communication problems (or just numpties) from above.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Foggy - They take the credit when it works, they must take the flak when they get it wrong, giving someone the same excuses that were given 2-3 months previous tells me someone is a little unsure what's going on, so it would seem they would tell you anything. I think we will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

CP -- if I may call you CP, I am still frogspawn in the pool of GT, I am sure, as I develop through tadpolehood, I shall be able to form a more informed opinion --- however, it IS my fervent wish that they sort themselves out before froghood beckons.

I do recognise they, as a company, have deep shortcomings at the moment.

P.S Maybe I should call myself Froggy !!!!!

I'm in the same boat as you - and I got an email that was worded pretty similar except mine is GE Capital that apparently has never put a claim in. I also believe that by the time my IVA was accepted, I was actually in credit with that particular account!!

I blame GE Capital - they should have responded even just to say they're not pursuing a claim which would at least close the loop and make the process go quicker. I've never had much of a problem with GT - most emails and phone calls are quickly handled.

My CC was due in October (last payment made in April) so I'm hoping to see it in the mail any day now!

Good luck to you though - hopefully we'll see the CC around the same time!
