So my review date is 10th April, I ask creditfix about it and hear nothing.

then fast forward to a few days ago and I get a letter through that appears to be my review going out to creditors (Opening line is as follows: Please find enclosed a copy of my annual review pursuant to rule 5.31 of the insolvency rules 1986)

So has my review magiced itself through?

I did get an email about 5 days after this one stating that I need to fill out some paperwork, not sure how this factors in if the review has already been sent out.

Surely the annual report can only happen after the data that makes the review come together?

I suppose its like flying a plane before you have built it.

They are obliged to produce a report of the review to the creditors within 2 months of the IVA anniversary. My feeling is that they are "producing" reports to hit this deadline and then catching up on the detail later. All well and good if there has, in reality, been no significant changes ( apart from the legal and moral questions).

My worry would be where they have missed something, which they then discover at the final review and they THEN turn around and ask for "arrears" -- which does happen.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

The reports state that an I&E have not been done plus meet a specific section of the Insolvency Act that allows the IP to demonstrate compliance.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Totally odd and ultimately designed to work in their favour.

It is a worry, I have uplifted various amounts since the takeover
All they say is thank you we will update your file
Never a confirmation it is correct
I am beginning to get anxious as all other PJG clients seem to have replies within days of sending off the info for I&E the form was so different to PJG it was a struggle to match up allowances

Mine was actually the other way round! I did my i&e, and although I did have to chase it, I got a reply to say my annual review was complete, and my payments actually decreased slightly due to a job change. I have never had the "official report though, despite asking for it, so am wondering if my creditors got it either, or if this is a problem. I have just gone through equity release, and had a 2 line email to say there would be no extension. I don't get any response either when I send uplifts.
As long as I get my CC when the time comes as swiftly as others have, then I will be happy!

I know I have earned less this year but I also know they did not understand my earnings when they first acquired us
I had to send the front page of pjg report last year
To be honest I never knew exactly how PJG worked it out
I have nearly have my salary paid in bonus which changes every month as it is based on A % of turnover there is no way of predicting if I will earn more or less or the same in the year ahead

Not at all recovering. Its important to understand the process and it does appear that creditfix are working back to front to achieve deadline dates.

I've just emailed them to tell them that if the review is complete then they won't be needing I&E or bank stuff..

Should make for an interesting reply
