I currently have an IVA running and pay mu ex wife a voluntary arranged fee of £100 per month. However she is threatening to go to the CSA to try and get more out of me. Am I protected with my IVA and the amount I pay out on this would get taken into account with the CSA?

Sorry g_r

The CSA are a creditor who stand completely outside of all insolvency proceedings, and if they reassess your child maintenance then this may well affect your IVA.

The CSA new rules are based upon the following:-

15% of net salary for one child
20% of net salary for two children
25% of net salary for three or more children

You ought to therefore be able to calculate what you should actually be paying to your ex-wife, and determine then whether you will be able to afford your IVA payments.
