Thank you to you all this forum has been brilliant and I really felt your collective good wishes today. That was blumming stressful though, however the person I spoke to apologised profusely for the delay he was in a meeting with a rather 'talkative' customer & just couldn't get out of it. That's fine as long as the answer was positive I now don't care!

So now how do I get one of those count down thingies?

It's a bizarre feeling I would say I feel relieved but actually I feel a bit numb, weird!

It's done littlefi - I had to alter the date of acceptance so that it shows you have made your first payment.

You're on your way!

Know what you mean about feeling odd, I did as well.

Thank you sooo much Jan! How do I get one of those illustrated ones so it counts down the days too, like in yours?

Doesn't it feel odd? I'm relieved but also concerned as I know it won't be easy but at least I have a resolution which makes me very happy. However after such a long journey and a lot of stress, especially today, it just feels strange!

Now that one I can't help you with! I had to have mine sorted for me by another poster as I couldn't do it! Somebody will help you with that.

It is a relief and at least you know that if you get any letters you can bin them and any calls you can tell them where to get off!

It won't be easy but you know we are there for you whatever.

This will probably be your initial call Chas to go through your I&E and make sure that you know what the IVA entails.

ah well for me it took a bit longer as I'm self employed, it feels like ages but I think from contact the National Debt Helpline which I did initially but having found this forum I would have gone straight to Payplan or similar company, it has taken about 8 weeks or just over. However there was a delay when National debt helpline contacted Payplan as there was such a backlog due to high volume of cases. I would just ask them direct as I imagine every case is different.
