Hi All,

I apologise for my absence. Im spread pretty thin between work and family. I have loads of questions, with a change of circumstance, but will start with 1.

Ive been in an IVA 2 years. At each annual review my IP has changed without my prior knowledge. When I asked why I was told this is the nature of insolvency. I am told to keep paying into the same account and that my new IP has bought that account.

Does this sound bona fide to the experts??

It is unusual - but as IP fees keep getting squeezed further and further by creditors, more and more IP firms are reconsidering whether this is a market they wish to remain in. Also a lot of firms merely employ IPs, which is a little different to my practice where I am the owner, so people hop from job to job and when they move on their cases have to be transferred to a new IP.

I do both - am very hands on in dealing with my clients and running my company, of course with the assistance of a great team of staff.

Don't worry - I'm here to stay. And I take all the appointments in my firm - some jointly with my other Insolvency Practitioner Sue Clay.
