Hi All
Just head back from IP that there will be no increase in my contributions which is a big weight off my mind as any increase would be hard to find.
Also I still have a bit of an issue that I need some help on. Before my IVA started I applied to have my bank charges refunded with a company who do all the work for you for a percentage fee of any refund. Well the my bank has now offered me a refund and so quite rightly they are sending the cheque to my IP. However I still need to pay this company who did the work for me their fee and was planning to pay this from the refund. However my IP is saying that they will keep all the money as a windfall and so I am now left having to pay this company out of my own money which of course being in an IVA I do not have. Do you think there is anyway the IP could help me by taking the fee from the cheque and giving the rest to my creditors. I would like to think this is being reasonable as the fee is about £163 and the cheque is for £1621.00. So thats an extra £1,458 going to the creditors.
Any advice would be great, Thanks Adam

Only your Ip will be able to help you on this one. Shame you dont look likely to be getting any of the money.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Did you explain to the IP that you owe money to the claim company and that without their help you wouldn't have received any windfall at all ?

Any half reasonable IP should accept that the claim comapny should be paid for bringing in this windfall.
