As Melanie has said, if you can keep up with repayments then your IVA will not fail.

If you are getting paid on a cash in hand basis, do make sure that you are registered with HMRC as a self-employed person and that you are retaining sufficient money to enable your eventual tax bill to be paid.

If you have family support to enable your payments to continue, then this will be fine.
