I have just returned my annual review I/E form with DFD. I had arrears of £700 and a missed payment in December. Declan kindly contacted DFD who then emailed me with a proposal that they would extend my IVA by 1 month and asked me to pay an additional £28 per month for 24 months to clear the arrears. I was happy with that and emailed back to readjust my payments in February. I have recieved an email from my IP saying I am in breach of my IVA due to income contributions arrears. I am mystified because I thought that they had agreed a new repayment schedule. I do not want to end my arrangement and just wondered if any one else had had similar issues with DFD. Declan was great last time because he got in touch with the DFD team and I had a resolution.

DFD tend to work on the most recent call to them - they don't like to go searching for past emails / letters / posts etc unless pushed - that's why now I log every call, every email and every response and the name of the person I speak to - that way they can't wriggle out of anything ! Have to say though - we haven't had issues with DFD while we have been in our IVA so far.
