Disposable income for regular payments should be based on basic pay and not include overtime payments as a given. As Lisa suggests, check what your agreement says about overtime (extra income).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Well its been a struggle and it has taken numerous emails, telephone calls and a re submission of our annual income and expenditure review data including a doctors note explaining the recent increases in our food bill due to my wife being a coeliac and the NHS taking all her gluten free food of prescription. They have however finally agreed to keep our payments the same as they were and not increase them by £128.00 a month. Its a big relief for both of us. Thanks for your comments and support during this stressful time:-)

That's great news Grayson - well done for standing your corner. Hope you don't have to go through that again!!
