another bad day!

Hi all sorry it's been a while. I have trying to concentrate on my new job. Really great news today that I was under paid on my tax credits for last year and they have just put 500 pound into my bank - yeah!!! oh no sorry I forgot I am nearly 800 over my overdraft and the bank have grabbed it all arrrrgggghhhh. Why oh why do these people NOT understand when you change your bank details and give them a new account that they are meant to put it in the one. I am devestated. It would have been nice to have that money to pay my first installment of my DMP
Anyway tomorrow is a new day and to be honest I didn't think I had been overpaid I thought I would owe them money!! so what I never had I will never miss.

Oh you poor thing, its like giving you a smack in the face. I had the very same thing happen to me with my sons DLA, one lot went into the right bank account, the other into my old bank and blimey did I nab it out the same day, I wasnt over my limit but I hadnt paid the loan or ccard, they sure would have nabbed it the following day. I had stressed to the DLA people, please dont pay it into the wrong account again, I am going BR, please please pretty please, they still did it again the following month, leaving me totally destitute. The thing was I had lost my job and benefits hadnt come through yet, it took eight weeks. You might as well talk to a brick wall... You could have put that money into a contingency fund for when the nasty washing machine gremlins and the evil clutch demons come to call.
