It's already starting to change. Banks are advertising credit cards and loans again which is an indication they want to open up this side of their business. And when they all want the same business they'll compete for it e.g looser lending criteria, low rate loans and 0% credit cards.

It will change, there is no doubt about that but I don't think mortgage lending criteria will be changine much for a while yet.
