But does an IP contact my creditors before I’ve signed anything.

There is a chance my grandmother will assist me and no idea if they contact creditors before signing?

They do not generally contact creditors until you have signed the draft proposal. However, with covid procedures they could go ahead without a physical signature, but with a digital agreement from you.

If your grandmother can help you then you could always offer a full and final straight off and clear your debts that way. Depends on how much you owe and how much your grandmother might be able to give you.

My debt's are roughly around £11,000.

But I just wanted to confirm that nothing would go ahead without a signature or E-signature.

Also since asking freezedebt for assistance in cancelling the process they've began ignoring me..

Freezedebt has said that they will not precede with the iva.

However I have no idea if they will notify mccambridge duffy (who I was referred to) or if I have to.

I've yet to sign anything as previously stated digital or physically.

So I'll have to wait and see.

I would contact McCambridge Duffy and give explicit instruction not to proceed to be sure you have covered both parties.

I would drop McCD an email, out of courtesy, to put a hold on proceedings for now. Then they will not be doing any more work that they are unlikely to be paid for in the event that your grandmother can assist.
