Unfortunately HSBC tend to close the accounts of people in IVAs so not many people on here would be able to use that [:(]

HSBC and First Direct close accounts, so I wouldn't rely on those.

I much prefer the free ones available. Never had a problem with them and it doesn't matter who my ISP or bank are.

I was lucky in that I signed up for the free MacAfee with HSBC before they closed my account

Nothing you can buy feels as good as not being in debt.

Do you still get it, and for how long?

I wouldn't really go for the free programs they aren't nearly as effective as buying a quality anti virus program. The best is zone alarm which is around $40.

According to me, Avast Antivirus free version is good as I'm using from the past 10 years as I didn't face any issue with this software.

It works perfectly as it detects antivirus both in online & offline.

This software also updates automatically when a company releases a latest update.
