Try your own lender in branch.

Try HSBC and Chelsea Building Society, their online application goes right through to the end where you get a refusal due to the obvious credit checks. I took a screen shot and my IP accepted these.

We had a secured loan with Black Horse who flatly refused and also gave it us in writing as did the Chelsea (our mortgage provider).

Getting unnecessary rejections can damage your credit file so many IP firms are happy for confirmation from a broker that no products are available. It seems pointless to me to make applications knowing they will be rejected especially when everyone knows they will be rejected anyway.
