This is my first posting [8)]; the time has come to seriously look into IVAs! Most things that we need know at this stage, we have found the answers to on this excellent forum. [:)] A few points remain, and I'll post them separately.
So, the first question:- is there any age restriction at the higher end - Mrs and me are in our early 60s, and we seem to meet the basic financial requirements as regards ability to service a joint IVA (ie at least £200pcm after living expenses)?
As long as you have a monthly income to service your IVA then you may find it to be the appropriate choice for you. Speak witha few IP's for a list of your options available to you.

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
Hi and welcome to the forum Searcher, as others have said age isn't a barrier to an IVA.
Have you chosen your IP yet? If not why not take a look at the experts link where you will find contact details of our professional posters who do come highly recommended, or why not take a look at www.iva.com for a list of companies and reviews.
Always contact at least 2 or 3 IP's for some non-judgemental, impartial, free advice.
All the best x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
Just to say that my hubbie is in his sixties and was approved for an IVA and will be past state retirement age by the time it finishes.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
