Hi

With such little debt then an IVA wouldnt be suitable. Maybe speaking to TSB to agree small payments while you are out of work with a view to increase when you find work?
Steve.

IVA approved!

Hi and welcome.

Did you mean £1400 or £14,000?

You won't be able to do an IVA as you only have the one creditor. You should be able to do a Debt Management Plan which means you will just pay Lloyds TSB what you can afford each month.

Check out www.iva.com they have a list of companies on there and one of them can help you sort out a DMP. Try someone like Payplan or CCCS who won't charge you for doing this.

Lloydstsb would be your best bet for help,as the debt is solely with them. You could talk to your local Citizens advice bureau 1st to get independant help.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

With such a small debt, you would be best just speaking to the bank manager and asking to pay back small ammounts over a longer period of time as others have said.
