any help, will only receive sick pay for 3 months

hi, my wife and are in an iva at present and its coming up to our first year, my question is about sep i am going into hospital for an operation on my hand and i will be off work for 3 months with only stat sick pay in an iva is their any help when this happens. regards

Yes,as indebtforever has stated just speak with your IP.Not many people will make it through an IVA without the need for a payment break or reduction.I am sure that your IP will be more than helpfull

my thanks go out to andy davie and sally berry for such a quick response to my posting, i have sent an email to my ip asking if it would be possible for a payment break due to my operation so hear hopes it will be ok i will keep the forum posted on my progress, and finally to all the people out there thinking about an iva the first steps are the hardest and yes it will get better much better don't give up hope these people running these company's are human beings with problems there self

I am, well me and hubby are just starting the iva process, so feedback of your first year would be appreicated, it's a scary thought thinking how we will survive for the next five years.

I am not expecting an easy ride, how's your first year been?
