my husband and i have been in an iva since march of this year, since then my husband has a new job which unfortunately is approx £500 pounds less each month and i am now earning approx £300 less each month as i was covering for maternity leave. We are really struggling with paying mortgage and our bills aswell as household shopping. I know it states that no change can be made for two years but is there an option for people who are really really struggling. Can you help. We are with Clear start.

Have you contacted them to see if there is anything they can do...? I cant see how things can be set in stone when life isnt...changes do happen and there must be some kind of safe guard in place for this.

I cant offer much help i'm afraid but just wanted to say i hope there is something that can be done as its for reasons like these that IVA's can fail and thats a real shame when someone has gone through so much already and managed to seek help to try and fix there problem.

I really do hope there is help for you. x

Thankyou for your reply bagpuss, very much appreciated. I have spoken to my I.P and they have suggested putting in writing our changes and they will see what they can do.
Regards Mitch

Good luck with this mitch, I hope things can be sorted out for you, after all your IP will want your IVA to continue and as bagpuss says, change happens.
