Hi Sblack,

I have also had a nightmare with MBNA. They have been the hardest people that I've had to deal with.

I have just sent my pack off today to my IP and up until now have not really had much hassle from creditors, except MBNA who like you say seem to be destorying many rain forests with their constant letters.

I hope it won't be a problem for you as they are more than 25% of the total debt that you owe, however to be honest with a friend of mine didn't get his first IVA accepted, however on the 2nd attempt did.

Don't worry about MBNA, they will come round. They know that you could go BR if you wanted to. That way they would get nothing.

Keep smiling and wish me luck for mine
xxxx

REJECTED today due to MBNA have been advised to go BR, very scary but it seems the only option. We have been going through the IVA for 4 months now from start to finish and it feels like I can't take anymore, I am gutted that it was rejected

Hi davvhenn

Thanks for your kind words.
It is just so hard going through this process and admitting that there is a problem without the patronizing phone calls from creditors. I wish they would appreciate that we are being responsible and addressing the problems and doing something about it. I wish you lots of luck with yours as you have with mine lets hope we both have a positive outcome!!xxx

Hi Kadge
Sorry to hear your IVA was rejected by MBNA.
I am getting really worried now.
Could I just ask what were their reasons for rejecting your IVA and how much were you offering?
Are you going to appeal against the decision?
Hope you are ok x

Hi Kadge, I'm sorry to hear that your IVA was rejected. I just wanted to reassure you that BR is not as bad as people imagine. You said in one of your earlier posts that you hadn't been left musch to live on - I found that the allowances in BR were much more generous than in my IVA.
