I lived down south for 3 years and could not believe the change in the cost of living-astronomical.
full and final accepted January 2015

iva agreed; August 2010
iva would have completed; August 2017

Midlands will do me! I'd love to live near the coast (anywhere!) but it's never going to happen unless I win the lottery!

I'd move to Manchester tomorrow if I could, it's where all my family are and I miss them like crazy x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I live in Peter Kay land as well, saw him on our park about 12 months ago with his children, we were there with our eldest grandchild, he said 'ow do all rit' how normal is he, we live about 4 streets from his mum who I believe refused the bungalow.

I'm all for people doing this but it didn't do anything last time. I had to queue for 3 hours for fuel as I was going to see my parents (Dad was ill) and I was well cheesed off.

i remember having to queue in 2000 but we had a pass from work to enable us to have a priority to get fuel. i dont want to go back to that.......

Yeah that was when it was I think - god doesn't time fly!! When they start talking about fuel pickets we just keep nipping in to top up as where we live there's no other transport and it's 6 miles to work so bit of a walk when you walk with a stick. lol

i had to walk to work when it snowed! only 3 miles but hard when you have rheumatoid arthritis!

Something does needs to be done about the price of fuel, not sure this is the way to go though.

I remember it in 1978 and driving past a queue of drivers at a petrol station to go to the emergency services pumps! If looks could kill......
