I went into tescos and I didnt have to enter my pin, it actually had come up as a signiture but the cashier hadnt noticed, I didnt sign as I was with my kids and got distracted. It could have been the same thing.

This is an oldish thread but nonetheless very relevant. I am very concerned that there is huge scope for fraud, which will never be recoverable as the PIN will have been correct, so therefore it is Joe Punters fault.

Be careful folks.

It's the thought of identity theft that makes me glad sometimes that I don't have a debit card.

I've had credit card details stolen a couple of times, and it is a pain trying to get it sorted out. Fortunately no one tried to get any loans or anything in my name.

I would like to see someone try at the moment - if they managed to get a loan with my credit history, I'd like to know how they did it!!!
