Just a warning to all, I have just been reading that some customers who shopped in Argos on Friday 24th October have been charged double for any items they purchased[:0]

Anyone who did shop should check their statements and see if they were one of the unfortunate ones.

It could put some in a difficult position and incurring bank charges etc....

I shopped in argos (dont know the date)
I used the machine instead of going to the till.
It charged me twice.
I always check my online banking if i have used my card, just to be sure. It had charged me £80 twice.
I got on to them and the bank and the money was refunded, although it did take 5 days.

This is one of the times that I am glad I don't have a card!
