Hi All,

As with many other Debt Matters clients I have been transferred to Grant Thornton. Just wanted to ask those of you who are already with GT what to expect at the annual review, Debt Matters used to request the last 3 months bank statements and pay slips, is this the same with GT or will they ask for statements for the whole year?

Many thanks

DM.

I'd be interested too DM as I was with Debt Matters as well. I can't see they would have the time to go through a years worth of statements, especially as they have just taken on thousands of new cases to add to their already busy schedule.
There's light at the end of the tunnel - it's just that sometimes the tunnel seems so long.

Hi

Just to let you know that we have been with GT for almost two years now. We had our first review last year and we had to submit our revised I&E and our 6 months latest payslips (we submit our payslips on a 6 monthly basis) but no bank statements. We had to supply (upon request) evidence of our significantly inceased expenditure but anything that went up a couple of pounds wasn't queried. Our contribution remained the same as our expenditure had increased.

One thing I will mention - it is advisable to aplways send in copies of everything with a covering letter- not originals - just in case they get lost. Because of the size of the firm you don't get to speak with your IP but there is always one the team available. Alternatively I email and then send a hard copy across. One thing I've learnt for working for a law firm - always cover your back.

But they are a good and reputable firm and respected within the creditor community and we have been very pleased with the service that we have received so far.
