Hi does anyone have any experience with Aperture? I was with Cleardebt but they transferred us over to aperture in March last year I only have a couple of payments left and I haven't heard from them!
Thank u
I was transferred from Tenon to Grant Thornton a few years ago and must say they were great, even though they did have shortcomings with completion times. They then became Aperture - same IPs. Since then their timings have improved considerably. However, they do have to be watched, and challenged if need be, over their interpretation of some clauses.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Myself and my partner were with clear-debt and moved over last year also, we found them very helpful with any questions we had and we offered our full and final in August last yr jus shy of being in an iva for a year as was starting to struggle to pay it and it went through with no hiccups they were very helpful but since we supposedly finished they failed to tell us back in August we had to pay another months worth which the creditors asked for till mid October when they contacted us I've just made the last instalment of that months worth and now awaiting our cc at some point.
I'd contact them personally, I did back when we got transferred last year to check up on things maybe they've just bypassed yours for some reason
Based on posts from this forum they seem to be getting their act together more from when they were Grant Thornton. If you have any issues raise your queries in writing and keep a record of everything.

Thanks when we first transferred to them they didn't take the money properly I spent weeks chasing them to pay luckily I noticed
I have tried calling them today with no luck so will keep trying I don't know what happened to Cleardebt they were great never had any problems I could ask them anything
Yes me. i was transferred to them a few years into my iva.My final payment to them was paid in october 2015(after 6 years) and I still have had no communication from them.I have contacted them on several occasions and i have now been told after calling them to chase up my completion certificate that i now have 8 months arrears on my account as they have added an equity clause (which i knew nothing about!) I was told prior to paying off my account the amount i needed to pay to finish it and that is what i paid.I still have had no letter to inform me of any arrears or no letter to inform me that an equity clause has been added and the account is still active (now in its 8th year!) so i have now enlisted an accountant to sort it out for me and make an official compliant to the governing body. They are a disgrace of a company, they have also ignored my accountant.Meanwhile i cannot move on with my life despite paying everything i owe.sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Oh great my husband keeps telling me to stop worrying about it but I don't have a good feeling about them I will show him this I will get on to them tomorrow
Hi
I was with Grant Thornton then transferred to Aperture. I have to admit, I had no issues what so ever. They just left me alone to make my payments until it finished. Contacted me a few months before end to supply them with some house valuations to see if i had any equity to release. I only had about 5k equity so they didnt ask for an extension. Iva ended march 2016 and completion certificate arrived may 2016

Thanks I have 3 payments left I just want the final paperwork so I can get it done and out of the way we are paying the extra year as we had equity in the house but obviously couldn't re mortgage.
It all seems like a distant memory now even though it was 6 yrs of my life and it finished nearly a year ago. Managed to get credit file cleaned up after a couple of months and then obtained a new mortgage with No issues with HSBC back in October.
I have spoken to them today they said I won't need to do another review as I am already paying for a 6th year after the final payment they will contact the creditors and land registry clear my credit history and send my certificate They made it sound simple I just hope it is!

Clearing of credit history is not quite that simple and dealing with the Credit Reference Agencies is beyond the duty of the IP and will be your job, if needed. In theory it should happen ( on the 6th anniversary of the IVA ) without much input from you, but it pays to keep an eye on the process and step in if and when needed.

I realise that I will be calling them after I have made my final payment to make sure everything is moving in the right direction
My 6th year ends on the 9th febuary but my final payment is in March as that is when the equity in lieu payments started,
My IVA was sold to Aperture too, Make sure you check your emails as this is how they contacted me about my last review. In theory i have paid my last payment, have sent them documents for final review but we shall see what happens. :-/
