Hi everyone,

I have not been contributing as much to the forum as I should of late. We have some serious concerns with Dobby's health and I have not been able to focus on anything other than my boy.

I have been looking in and will try to post when I can.

Hi Julie,
That's a bit sad about Dobby, hopefully all will be well.
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

Funds paid to date accepted as F&F 16th August 2013, the wait for completion begins.
Wait over....certificate recieved 3rd May 2014

Thank you both - The Dobster is fit as a fiddle on the surface, his usual lovable, spolit, self! However, a scan has shown "something" on his prostate - trying to stay as positve as we can.

Also trying to catch up on the forum, so many posts!

Thank you!!

We took him to the vets 2 weeks ago for a check up after a urine infection and a scan showed a "pocket of fluid". The vet told us, it could be a tumour, but second opinion said it more likely to be an abcess.

He is normal in himself and has even managed to gain access to upstairs - quite comfortable on the bed is Dobby!!

Back to the vets next week and just hoping that my big boy is going to rule my life for a long time to come.

Thank you for your kind words - I just felt I should explain why I haven't been posting as usual.

Dobby has been to the vets today and the news is positive!

Nothing "sinister " on examination and the day to day signs are good. Another check up scheduled for 4 weeks time.

We know there is still a possibilty of "worse case scenario", but so far The Dobster is his normal fabulous self! Please keep him in your thoughts xxx
