We're off to Devon, Andy - a cottage next to a watermill, plenty of walks and rivers ( and a dog friendly pub).

Sounds good for all Julie.[:)]
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

[:)] We had the most fantastic time! Got lucky with the weather and spent every day walking with the Dobster, exploring some of Devon.

Didn't miss the television or internet really, it was nice to have a "complete" break. Back to reality now, but already thinking of where to take Dobby next!

It looked like Dobby enjoyed himself! Yes the weather has been good in the West Country. Today I was in a strappy t-shirt and shorts doing my garden!

The area around Croyde Bay / Woolacombe is gorgeous. Not sure of great areas for dogs but if coming out of season you could be on the beach all day.

Saunton sands would be a great beach for a long run (by-laws allowing ).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
