You do a really good job Admin and it's a shame that some people out there seem to get some sort of kick out of spamming. This site has helped loads of people and I can't understand what sort of people would want to spoil it.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

on the other forum i use we call them TROLLS...

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages in an on-line community such as an on-line discussion forum with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response.

I had no idea that this was going on, I just assume people are genuine and want to join in and have people to turn to although its a virtual support.

I totally understand your decision admin, I wonder why some get a kick out of doing something like this? I really do not understand the terminology you use but I will ask someone in IT as I am curious.

Thanks so much for staying one step ahead and for the continuation of this valuable site.

Admin -

I assume by IP address you do not mean "Insolvency Practitioner" address?? Sorry - just a silly comment!!!

I agree with Skippy - Admin do a great job. I cant understand why anyone would spend time trying to spoil a site like this - are their lives really that empty???

IP address means internet protocol address and is your virtual 'address' on the internet. This is how computers send information to each other. It is your unique identity on the internet at any given time, for more info please see:

Great job Admin - I was getting quite annoyed by some of the posts yesterday myself, and felt that there was something not quite right about him. I even thought about giving the forum a miss, as I was fed up with answering silly posts. Such a shame that these individuals have to spoil things, when we are giving up our free time to help others.

And what a great job you all do Melanie. Without your help a lot of people would be still lost and confused.
His posts reminded me a lot of another person that used to post on here who i havent seen for a while, his name also was john. Maybe it was the same person?

Yes -

john l - same style exactly. And I think he / she briefly reappeared as "I HATE DEBT".

I think john l disappeared after Skippy asked him if he was "for real!!!"

must admit i havnt been about much lately and when i logged on this morning i was astounded at the amount of posts JP had made and sat here for about an hour reading them wondering what was going on.
Glad admin that it has been nipped in the bud, especaily for new posters, who need advise and support which is what this forum is all about.

I know i havent been on for very long at all...and i have posted a few answers and questions, i do hope thats ok. I am truly for real and although my IVA was completed almost 2 years and i could just forget about it, i beleive that its selfish not to share what you know. It had such a massive impact on my life and i cant just forget about it and hope that i could offer a little support to others. x
