Hi Jane.blue, I can't be sure what your situation is from the few details you've given. Do you think your IP has mismanaged your iva and caused it to fail? Do you mind my asking what the paperwork was and what effect it would have had? I don't think I'll be able to answer this but one of the experts might with a few more details.

i was asked by hmrc/tax/paye as part of my iva to fill and complete returns to the iva supervisor who would then forward to the relevant authorities. the court gave me a 6 week extention so that i would be able to comply with the requests. i was asked to go to the offices of the iva sup and collect all the data as he had them in storage for the last 18 months. when i delivered them to my accountants i had then to rush off to africa on family business mines. when i got home 7 days ago my accountants told me that half the docs data was missing and also the documents requested from the tax office have also never been sent to me. all in all i look stupid and not cooperating with tha authorities and the truth is it an impossible task as how can you complete tax returns when vital information is not there!!! as such the gov offices have voted against my iva continueing as they are saying i am being obstructive but the truth is i am being the scape goat for other peoples incompitance
