Morning all.

So, my continuing frustrations regarding PPI, were further exacerbated this week.

I received a letter from Santander (never a creditor) bit I understand they have brought a number of old store card debts.

Firstly Slater Hayward have phrased their letter saying - I am still subject to an IVA. Having received my CC three years ago this is deeply annoying to read!

Secondly they have also said that they can't verify the details of the IP referenced in the letter from Apperture and that they have written to Apperture saying that. This prompted me to do some investigations and I understand that my IP, Mark Allen is no longer a part of GT/Apperture so why are the lawyers representing Apperture referencing his name on letters to creditors?

Has anyone come across the same issue? Where they have been told firstly that they are still subject to an IVA or that the reference to the IP is wrong?

Also, why did they need to tell me that? The letter is worded rather strangely almost like they are questioning the IP status. It then goes on to say you haven't got any PPI and we are closing your claim etc etc etc.

Any insights would help from other clients of GT/Apperture or those in the know!

Thanks in advance!

No idea on this one at all I'm afraid but it doesn't sound good.

Hopefully one of the other experts can help but I would be on the phone to Slater Hayward complaining about the letter.

No idea what's going on. All that I know is that I just hate these letters, they are not good for my mental health at all.

Just annoyed!

We keep getting letters from Slater Haywood too despite having signed then all twice!
Mark Allen isn't on Apertures website so he may well have left recently. Maybe the slayer Haywood letters went out before he left, after all the banks are not known for their prompt service when it comes to ppi claims.

How you get to the bottom of it.

According to IP register he is still at Aperature, but it may be that this hasn't been updated.

Difficult to comment on the letter you got really without reading it, sorry.
