The only reason I've got an iPod is because I wanted the biggest memory I could get and Apple are the only ones who go 160gb.

I have apple tv, it's not worth the money in my opinion. It could be a good product but there is a way to go yet.

No it connects to your tv and wifi, you can rent and buy videos on it and play your own content that's stored on your computer straight through your tv if you have wifi. You can also use it to play music through our audio system over the wifi too.

This is the first I heard of Apple TV - I'm useless [:D]

We have Sky,but I'd love to change as their customer service is awful.

We never rent or buy videos and I never watch any sort of TV via the computer plus hubby loves the sports on Sky.

Julie - I actually rate Sky Customer Service. We've just had a problem with the phone and last number call barring (sick and tired of all the scam and sales calls) where the last number barred was still able to get through. They have been brilliant and have phoned several times since I complained to make sure the problem has been fixed (which it seems to have been).

Same here with us and cable - we've not got it and never likely to get it either.

I watch iplayer etc, if I've missed a program in bed (with headphone in) during my insomniac nights! but that's my lot.

Hubby is ok with Sky but we are limited to channels as we can't afford full package. x

We can have cable but to anyone who thinks Sky have poor customer service wait until you try cable! I used to work for Telewest and left 13 years ago but a few years ago they decided to send me a bill for services I no longer had. I phoned customer service who couldn't help me as it concerned a staff account so I phoned staff accounts who couldn't help me as I was no longer staff! In the end I wrote a letter and got a reply saying they were sorry to lose me as a customer (I hadn't been a customer for years) and they hoped to have me back one day (never) - a standard reply which made me think they didn't bother reading my letter!

I never watch TV programmes on the computer. I do confess to watching some of my favourite songs on Youtube on here - only because I'm not allowed to watch them anywhere else!!

Don't have my phone on at night at all once everyone is home. Hubby would kill me if I got up at night or even used my phone whilst in bed.

He already thinks I'm on here far too much as it is!!

The only time we've watched iPlayer Dave linked it up to the TV as there's no way I could watch TV (apart from Youtube) on my laptop. My phone isn't switched off at night as it's one of the numbers for my Mum's alarm in case she falls. Now we've got a landline phone by the bed I'll probably start turning it off.

My parents have the landline as only Dad has a mobile and that is hardly ever on and mum would not have a clue so they will always use the landline.

My Mum has the landline number but Dave's Mum only has his mobile as she wouldn't see anything wrong with giving the number to his ex!

My phone is on silent at night. My hubby would sleep on a washing line with a disco in the background so no problem to have TV or computer on, I do put headphones in but that's my choice, I don't have to. If I get up it's too near the kitchen so I find I snack less in bed!

Hubby's Mum only has landline number or I think she'd ring us every day at all times at least now we can unplug it if she's going through one of her phases! It's letter writing phase at the minute so we're receiving a couple of letters a week from her!
