I have had my IVA approved today. For those who have seen my previous posts you know it has been a rocky journey. I just want to sincerely thank everyone who responded when I was really down. My special thanks must go to Melanie. When I received my rejection the first time and then misread my chairmans report I was devastated. However after venting my concerns your reply helped me to understand what had happened.

It was touch and go but eventually 5pm yesterday PWC who had rejected the first time agreed with modifications. The creditors meetng today at 1130 gave the approval.

I now have 5 years in front of me with someone watching over me financially but can see a way forward.

Keep up the good work here. For those who are in the process of going for an IVA keep reading here it really does give you the hope you really need to succeed. I am so grateful I found this site.

Good luck to everyone. I will always read this site

Bengy [:D]

Hi Bengy

I am so pleased to hear your news, and your gracious comments are most welcome.

Don't forget the forum, and do let us know how the first few months go. These are difficult times as you adjust to a "plastic free" budget, but it will all be worth it in the end.

The very best of luck to you for a debt free future.

Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner for over 20 years.
