Hi,

I came clean to my husband this week about the level of debt I have and after putting it all on paper I think my only option is an IVA.

I had a quick call with creditfix and went through my costs and they said it would be rejected due to my travel costs (£560 monthly season ticket to London) and the fact I have a car as well and the creditors would assume I would use that to commute (obviously not an option when working in central London)

Has anyone else come across this??

Thanks!!

First -- they would, if anything amend it, but they could also accept your arguements -- after all ... no work ... no IVA payment.

I would strongly suggest that you speak to another firm or two for better advice. Maybe a smaller firm, rather than an "IVA Factory" .
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
