That is great news MarkM. I told my wife last week and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. She has orginally agreed to stay and try to work through this. But she refuses to pay over her proportion of the household bills and mortgage (based on NET monthly salary percentages). I don't want her too. She works damn hard for her money and my cok-up should not hurt her. My IP is trying to get this through, I don't know it it will succeed or what will happens if it doesnt.
Anyway great news, and promise each other you will never get here again
Phil

Hi Phil, I'm really pleased to hear you've got the backing of your wife too, and I know what you mean about it being the hardest thing you've ever had to do.
That promise is already firmly lodged, I just hope we can get a reasonable arrangement in place to see us through this ... mishap.
Hope everything goes your way, and doubtless we'll keep in touch on this forum.
All the best,
Mark

I am sure that my firm in swardean's case and Melanie's in markm's case will do their utmost to accomodate this difficult situation.

It is not unknown and depending on the individual circumstances of the particular case will be OK.

It often is the biggest step to share your financial difficulties with a partner, and once the worst bit is over things can only get better. Well done to both of you for sharing this those special ladies.

Markm,

I am just starting the IVA route and can vouch 110% for the expertise in both Melanie Nichols and Giles. Mel N dealt with me on the phone itinially, and was a pleasure to deal with, and put everything into black and white to explain everything as clear as it could be explained.

You have the backing of one of the best IVA companies in the country behind you, so if anything can we done, they will sort it. Im sure many posters on here wouls agree.

Good luck going forward.

Dan
