I'm currently into my 3rd year of my IVA, but i am having concerns with regards to the company managing my IVA, I currently have Harrington Brooks/One Advice managing my IVA and my concern has come about since i moved back in Aug 2007, i notified then immediately of the change in out goings and they said there was no problem.

i contacted them several months later regarding sending in some pay slips and deicded to double check with them my income and expenditure because i noticed i was having to stretch my money that bit further.

They had infact not logged my change of out goings and there was no record at all of it on their computers. So i re-submitted my income and expenditure and they refused it saying it was a unacceptable increase in expenses, and refused to discuss or look into the matter any further until my next annual review.

Are there any options available to me?? the company is clearly failing to manage the IVA

Hi Simon and welcome to the forum

The best thing to do is to try and work through these difficulties with your current IP - have you tried speaking to him/her directly rather than staff members?

Hi Melanie

i've tried several members off staff including the person who had set up the IVA but she had left the company, but the contact i'm dealing with at the moment is apparently the head of department for reviews. And i'm finding him unhelpful.

Is it possible to have a IVA transfered to another company if this current company continues to miss-manage it?

Sorry - it is nigh impossible to get an IVA transferred to a new company, but you ought to be able to speak to your IP directly if you want to - especially if you have a complaint about the service you are receiving.
