do they give you a specific time for the meeting, as I work Mon-Fri and is difficult to get time off , but was hoping a late or early lunch would be enought time to speak to IP if needed

Yes there is normally a time, and the IP can ring you at a pre-arranged time maybe after the meeting time to discuss anything that needs to be. Let us know when it is and we'll all be wishing you luck. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

They will give you a time, as Lesley says.

They do like you to be by the phone as there may be modifications that need to be discussed.

Its great to be able to open up about problems, startedthe budgeting this month and its not to bad, dare I say it seems to give more of a purpose than the wreckless spending of the past, I also agree with one of the postss here, whilst I take full reponsibility for my situation, I feel the banks should take a little bit as when I was very financially secure and solent the banks could not throw enough cards and loans at me and increased limits without me even asking, some loans could be in my accpount with a few clicks on the PC, it nice to off load although as I said I take full responsibility, thanks agin guys for all thhe messages and support

I always take full responsibility for my debts - yes, the banks threw money at me sometimes but I didn't have to take it. I also lied sometimes to get the credit.

I even resorted to begging on one occasion when Direct Line wouldn't give me a top up loan. They did eventually.

It just means that Grant Thornton and Tix will vote for those companies. It's nothing to worry about and happens all the time.

That means that Grant Thornton and Tix hold nearly 80% of the voting power with the companies they appear to be representing, would this seem positive, sorry for keeping asking question but bit nervous about all this

Don't worry key, this happens a lot and they will all vote individually for the debts. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

The positive way to look at it is that GT and TiX will look at the proposal from a purely accounting perspective. They have no axe to grind and don't care if you swore at the collections department last week [:D]
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

No, you're not a pain at all. It's what the forum is here for, any advice and support.

They have to vote impartially on each one.

Hi Key

Of your creditors, both barclaycard and Egg voted positively for me.

So hopefully you will be fine, good luck
