OW don't let other people opinions views affect your life at the end of the day you have faced up to reality and those who matter will outshine those whose don't i wish each and every one of us who have debt related matters the best in life we will live again and be the better person, i believe that so much.

look on the bright side Lilly...I forgot to pay the congestion charge one day...got no paperwork through, 4 months later they towed my car from my drive and charged me £600 to get it back..they then showed me out to the car pound and were delighted to tell me they had reversed the tow truck into the side of my car and written it off! Things can always be worse Lilly!! Chin up!

Thankfully I gave up caring what people think years ago; at the end of the day, you're the one who counts and as long as the people who really matter to you are on your side you just stick two fingers up to the rest of them!

arrghhg kiska you ok?
having a bad week myself, hubbies car failed its mot and needs £350 repairs, but we have to keep our chins up!!

glad to see my old chum lily up and running, my if you only knew her like i do, she is the absolute rock, selfless, and there for everyone, you get back on form girl, we all need you, rant away, i am lucky i have the family behind me well mum and dad and thats enough, but without lily i truly don't know where i would have been said this so many times before she has talked ,listened, shouted, calmed and comforted me for the last 12 months while going through her own problems, she deserves a medal.

thank you, sis is ok, very tired but in good spirits. my parents have just put on a little party for my daughter and partner's birthdays. we had a good time and even though she was tired and woozy from the steroids we had a good laugh especially when we played pictionary and my bro nearly had to draw 'bald'

just hope me and my other half can hold out, all we seem to do at weekends is fall out, we don't blame each other at all but we just seem to niggle away. i feel in some ways i have let him down and that his ex gave him a far nicer life (even though they split up over 10 years ago) silly hey!!!!!

not silly kiska, we are not living in the past, its about the future and how we can turn it all around, your partner doesn't have to think about the what if's its about the here and now's and you should join together and say hey what a mess but!!! we are going to get through this together

and i hope you can

me too, i really, really hope so. i could write a book about my whole life and i'm only 33, not just about debt either! 4 years ago i thought my life had changed for the better...it still has in a way, but now its debt. woo hoo....

just properly read your blog, can't believe you were so wrongly advised. if our payments are not reduced think we might do the same except house is in my name and really partners debts are a lot higher than mine. i was hoping to re mortgage and he go bankrupt...
dunno we'll see...

thanks for the support. i think you know what you are talking about he he x x x

Hi Kiska

Just a thought on the birthday front. Do you have lots of old photos of your family? I remember receiving a collage of all the nights out we had from where I used to work as a leaving present a few years back.

I remember I was staying at my parents as I'd already moved and gone back for the "do" and when I got home at nearly 1am I woke my mum to show her as I was so pleased with it.

I know this might not be your partners thing but just wanted to give you an idea.

I know Tesco sells A4 size frames for a couple of quid.

thank you so much for that idea and it wont cost a lot..

Hi Kiska

Glad its inspired you. Sometimes I think that with family we dont have to spend large sums of money to tell them how much we love them.

My nephew had his 14th birthday 3 weeks ago. Last year when I thought I still had money to spend it was the middle of the World Cup so I got him both the red and white England shirts. This year he was told I didn't have too much money to spend and he asked if he could have my old mobile phone. Its a Sony Ericsson K750 so still a current model so he got what he wanted and I didn't have to spend any money.
