Hi
After being off work for 14 weeks i wrote to ip to request a payment holiday, as i have only been getting paid ssp.
I jsut wondered how long this takes as my payment is due to go out on the 1st. I am so anxious as i really need this payment break!!!

Have you missed any payments yet? If not, you can usually miss up to three before the IVA goes into default, but this ought to be with your IP's permission. We normally provide this straight away on the telephone or via e-mail, so it might be sensible to try and speak to your IP directly - nothing better than using the horse's mouth so to speak!

Yes feeling much better thanks, still on pain killers but at least i can move around!
Im jsut playing he waiitng game now. Melanie: I have never missed any payments so far!
